Mohs service on the Central Coast
We are delighted to introduce Dr Lipscombe and let you know that we have established a Mohs service on the Central Coast. Dr Lipscombe is available for consultations in our Gosford rooms and Mohs referrals.
Mohs is designed for the treatment of
• recurrent skin cancers
• incomplete excisions
• poorly defined lesions
• infiltrative and morphoeic pathology
• Difficult sites such as ear, nose, lip and eyelid
Referrals for Mohs
Referrals for Mohs surgery can be emailed to the practice: gosfordadmin@dermcentre.com.au
Referrals should be accompanied by:
• Full patient details including contact phone number
• Histopathology
• Photo showing location, plus close up if able
Patients will be triaged by Dr Lipscombe and then contacted by staff to arrange an appointment.
Dr Lipscombe will require a telehealth appointment or phone call with the patient prior to the surgery.
All patients will be given a surgical fee estimate prior to their appointment, however please understand that occasionally this quote may change on the day of the appointment.
